One classy looking appliance

This was purchased for a vacation property and it is so much nicer than the one we replaced. Love the warming burner also. I have been more selective about purchasing appliances in recent times as we have noticed a drastic change in the Quality of so many brands. Maytag seems to go the extra mile in the small details that you can see, so I'm comfortable that with the reputation of so few repairs, the parts that cannot be seen were created without cutting corners also.

Good oven all-around. Quick preheat and even baking. The stovetop is a little more difficult to clean than other flatops we've owned. It has small bumps along the top which make it a little tricky to clean around. Other than that no issues.

I bought this 5 months ago and hate it. It took me 50 min to cook something that was suppoto take 17. Min 2 hours for baked potatoes the list goes on and on. I will be going to change this within a Few weeks. My husband is not a cook and tryed to boil water for something the other day. And when I walked in he said he had to have it on Hi to get it to boil and leave it on hi. That's when he new what all my frustration was all about. It looks nice put that's it.

It's awful!

We bought this item along with the frig and dishwasher, all may tag. I am happy with the other two but not this range. I wish I had my old one back. It takes FOREVER to heat up. At least 25 minutes to heat up to 350. If the recipe or instructions call for a temp of 450, you'd better turn it on at least 45 minutes in advance. Preheating is a nightmare. Quick dinners do not happen.

I like the power element, on the right side of the stove, the burner on the left front is too big and not as hot and takes too long to cook with. The large size does not match any of my pans so the handles get very hot. If I use the small size element for the large pans that I have it takes forever to cook anything. I wish the both of the front elements were the power elements. Drawer in the bottom is very difficult or impossible to remove to clean under.

This is my first glass top range. I am pleased with it. I do find that it takes a little longer than an element type range to heat up. And, when cooking, I have to stir very often or most things stick. But these might just be characteristic of glass top ranges. I love the warming element! Nice feature!

I have had my new appliances since the beginning of May, Stove Refrigerator and Microwave. Still could use a dishwasher though:). I love them all, but the stove is like none I have experienced before. It offers so many options! The stove top offers a warming space to melt or keep cooked food warm. It offers many different size options as well. The oven is large with a viewing window to see how things are cooking. The size of this oven allows you to cook many things at one time as the convection option allows even heat on two racks at one time.This stove is beautiful to look at and the stove top is easy to keep shining and clean. Paired with the Microwave above it, it is a beautiful addition to any kitchen.

I just finished up a batch of bacon wrapped meatballs and I couldn't be happier. The elements are hidden so when grease pops out of the pan you don't have anything in your way to wipe around. Heats up quickly and when I use the convection it bakes faster so I don't use as much electricity.

We moved into a new house 2 months ago and needed to replace the stove, which incidentally was a double oven model that I did not like. I really like the single oven with the oversize glass door, the 3 oven racks, the new AquaLift cleaning surface, and the many cooking selection settings. If I could change anything, it would be to lighten the cooktop color to a more charcoal color or go back to the speckle combination of white and charcoal. I am not a big fan of black for decor purposes and I believe it shows scratches and discoloration more easily (which my old stove had and was one major reason for replacing it). I also like the more brilliant stainless color. In this new house we now have 4 Maytag appliances and are enjoying their function and aesthetics.

Have used the stovetop and oven since the day it was installed. Power element really heats up fast. Dual element fits all my skillets and pans with out wasting heat outside the pan diameter. Warming element is really a nice feature also. The oven maintains constant temp so much better than our old stove which was pushing 20 yrs of use. We are absolutely satisfied with our purchase and with the Appliance Barn employees.

We replaced our old Maytag oven with this one. Love the improvements. The burners are not so close to each other and they heat up very fast. The oven is huge and holds quite a lot. Would high recommend this model.

Great Features, Versatility

I really like the Sabbath option for continuous cooking and also the automatic oven temperature turn off at the end of timed cooking. The convection option is nice as well as multiple racks.
