I had gone to LG to find correct filter and ordered what they said. It was the wrong filter and when I called. I could send it back for credit but I had to pay for shipping again. So I ended up paying for shipping Twice and was not reimbursed for the shipping.

LG sent me the wrong size but when I tried to get instructions on how to return the product and get a refund LG delivered the worst customer service Ive ever experienced: 7 phone calls in which I was sent from department to department and 3 unanswered emails. I never got an answer let alone a refund so I had to take a loss and throw out the product.

Called the dealership to make sure I was buying the correct part. Cheaper to buy on line from the dealership than actually going there and buying it. Came in the mail quickly. Part fits great. Tried buying from eBay and part didnt fit. Didnt return it because it would have cost more to ship it back than I paid for it.

This dryer screen does not fit flush with DLG4871W. The gaps permit lint to escape and get caught in the dryer exhaust pipe. I find lint spewing outside all the time. Upon detaching the dryer exhaust pipe for regular cleaning I found the pipe lined with lint. It probably works well with other models but not for DLG4871W.

I dont really know where to begin honestly. Our lint collector in our dryer crack and broke. So of course I needed a replacement. Not only was the replacement a perfect fit and works fantastically the shipping was amazingly fast. I think it didnt even take two days to get to us and we live in rural Southwest georgia. Just amazing over the moon happy with my purchase and highly recommend.

I purchased a LG replacement dryer filter as a replacement for knock-off brand replacement that fell apart in less than a year. I can already tell that the original LG brand product is far more durable and is catching much more lint. I am so glad that I went for the LG dryer vent replacement. It only cost a little more and it will last a long time. Thus money saved in the long run
